Marvel Releases Avengers: Doomsday Teaser Featuring the X-Men
Marvel Studios continues to unveil the star-studded roster for its upcoming cinematic crossover event.
Marvel has released the third teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, confirming the return of several iconic mutants. The footage features James Marsden reprising his role as Cyclops, alongside legendary actors Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Ian McKellen as Magneto.
In line with previous character spotlights focused on Captain America and Thor, this new preview adopts a somber, high-stakes tone. The visuals notably depict a decimated Xavier Institute, hinting at the devastating challenges that await the team in the upcoming blockbuster.
Beyond the central trio, the project will integrate other familiar faces from the original FOX X-Men franchise. Fans can expect to see Rebecca Romijn returning as Mystique and Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, further expanding the multiversal scope of the film.
Simultaneously, a “leaked” fourth teaser has begun circulating online, providing glimpses of Wakanda, Namor, and the Fantastic Four. As previously reported, the official reveal of Doctor Doom is being held back for a later stage of the promotional campaign to maximize the impact of his debut.
Avengers: Doomsday is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026.
