The Democratic National Convention continued Wednesday evening (Aug 21) at Chicago’s United Center for the night’s “A Fight for Our Freedoms” style, and much more songs celebrities executed onstage to commemorate Vice President Kamala Harris’ governmental election.
Maren Morris supplied her demonstration tune, “Better Than We Found It.” She sang to the group: “When lines of tomorrow are drawn/ Can I live with the side that I chose to be on?/ Will we sit on our hands, do nothing about it?/ Or will we leave this world better than we found it?”
Stevie Wonder adhered to with some effective comments for the target market, prior to doing “Higher Ground,” off his 1972 cd, The Sounds ofStevie Wonder “This is a moment to tell your children where you were and what you did,” he stated. “When we stand between history’s pain and tomorrows promises we must choose courage complacency.”
