Countdown to 2026: FIFA Announces Star-Studded World Cup Concert Lineup

FIFA has officially unveiled the artist roster for its highly anticipated 2026 World Cup “Countdown Concert” series. Set for June 10, the global event will feature synchronized performances across three host nations: Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The lineup includes heavy hitters such as Diplo’s Major Lazer and the legendary cumbia group Los Ángeles Azules.

Organized in partnership with the Grammys, these cross-continental celebrations aim to build momentum leading up to the tournament, bridging borders through a shared love of music and sports.

Mexico City: A Celebration of Latin Rhythm

The festivities in Mexico City will take place at the historic Auditorio Nacional. The evening will be headlined by the iconic Los Ángeles Azules, who will be joined by pop sensation Belinda and Venezuelan singer-songwriter Elena Rose. Organizers have also teased the arrival of an additional secret guest to round out the bill.

This performance will run alongside the “México Vibra” event, a massive showcase featuring a stellar cast of regional favorites including Alejandro Fernández, Carín León, Timbiriche, Carla Morrison, and Meme del Real.

Los Angeles and Toronto: Global Sounds

In Los Angeles, the energy will shift as Diplo’s Major Lazer takes the spotlight alongside the acclaimed Afrobeat artist Davido. This performance is expected to be a highlight of the series, with additional acts slated to be announced in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the Toronto stage will host an eclectic mix of international talent, including Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, Vegedream, and a powerful collaborative set featuring AHI and Wyclef Jean.

Fans across the globe can experience the festivities via live stream. Broadcasts are scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. in Mexico City, 6:00 p.m. in Los Angeles, and 8:00 p.m. in Toronto (local times).
