Many business ventures have sprung up around CS2, but they don’t always unfold smoothly.
The team behind the well-known skin trading platform SkinBid recently announced the project’s closure.
A challenging yet rewarding four-year journey is drawing to a close. SkinBid ApS (the company behind the SkinBid website) was declared bankrupt under Danish law on November 21, 2025.
zipeL’s co-owner admitted they were unable to establish a successful “white” marketplace:
Four hundred thousand wonderful users, excellent colleagues, and four years of relentless effort — it’s all coming to an end. My ambition was to create a marketplace fully compliant with EU regulations; I accomplished that, but in the end it didn’t work out.
Players have until December 5, 2025 to withdraw their assets from SkinBid.
