Guy Oseary is publicly commending the electric chemistry between Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter following their standout collaborative performance at Coachella 2026.
On Saturday, April 18, the long-time manager to the Queen of Pop took to social media to celebrate a poignant full-circle moment for Madonna. The appearance marked exactly two decades since her debut at the desert festival in 2006, and Oseary was quick to express his appreciation for Carpenter’s role in the milestone.
“Two decades after Madonna’s first Coachella set, we’ve arrived at a beautiful full-circle celebration,” Oseary reflected in his Instagram tribute, which featured footage of the pair sharing the spotlight during Friday’s headlining performance.
“On behalf of the team at Maverick, I want to extend my gratitude to the incredibly talented crew at Volara Management. Above all, thank you to Sabrina Carpenter,” he added.
The duo captivated the audience during Friday’s set, offering fans a glimpse of a track from Madonna’s forthcoming album, Confessions II, while delivering powerhouse renditions of classics like “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer.”
Oseary also shared a nostalgic anecdote, recalling his initial introduction to Carpenter at an SNL 50 gala in early 2025. “I first met Sabrina while navigating the SNL 50 party. She immediately spoke of her admiration for Madonna. Just minutes later, she joined the house band for an impromptu cover of ‘Like a Virgin.’”
He concluded, “She has consistently championed the Queen, and last night, that mutual respect was on full display for the entire world to witness.”
Carpenter responded to the warm sentiment with a series of heart emojis. Following her second headlining weekend at Coachella, the “Please Please Please” hitmaker shared her own heartfelt reflection on Instagram.
“Coachella weekend two might just be the pinnacle,” Carpenter wrote, accompanying a collection of behind-the-scenes images. “Madonna—thank you for gracing the stage with your legendary presence, your astrological wisdom, and the greatest catalog of music in history. Sharing the stage with you was a dream and an unforgettable privilege.”
