Microsoft has removed all products from the developer Mscenery from the Marketplace after years of community criticism.
The Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 teams pulled the content citing poor quality, misleading product descriptions, and suspected review manipulation.
Flight simulation enthusiasts frequently accused Mscenery of using AI-generated imagery to misrepresent their products. Some users also suspected the developer relied on bots to inflate their store ratings. The YouTuber AV Angel helped bring these issues to light by demonstrating the low technical quality of one of the studio’s aircraft.
Customers who previously purchased Mscenery products through the Marketplace will retain access to their content.
