Low-Budget Repairs launches on PC

Low-Budget Repairs has launched on PC. The renovation simulator was developed by Simplicity Games and published by PlayWay. Before release, the project passed one million additions to Steam wishlists.

Players take the role of Maciek, an inexperienced handyman working under Mr Zbyszek. Jobs take place in apartments inspired by Poland in the 1990s, with old wall panels, uneven tiles and ageing electrical systems.

The main objective is to keep costs low and preserve as much profit as possible. Players decide whether to complete work carefully or save money with improvised solutions that can create new problems for the residents.

Alongside client contracts, Maciek can renovate his own apartment. This part of the game rewards a more careful approach, while a radio and disco-polo soundtrack accompany the work.
