Projects stuck in development hell usually end up disappointing. With INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road, however, the outcome feels unexpectedly different.
The title was originally scheduled to launch in 2018 under a different name. The publisher delayed the release — and the wait stretched on.
Despite the prolonged postponement, the overall outlook is surprisingly positive. That said, exercise caution before purchasing: the publisher did not provide review copies to the press and has ignored requests from outlets seeking access to INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road for testing.
On Steam the game has been well received — after more than 2,700 user reviews its approval rating sits at approximately 95%.
