Square Enix have revealed Left Alive, a brand-new survival motion shooter, coming to PC (and PlayStation four) subsequent 12 months. It’s received some nice expertise hooked up, together with Armoured Core director Toshifumi Nabeshima, Metal Gear character designer Yoji Shinkawa, and Ghost within the Shell: Arise and Mobile Suit Gundam mech designer Takayuki Yanase.

Here’s the announcement artwork by Mr Shinkawa – it is pretty to see his distinctive model once more – which presumably exhibits the lead characters. No particulars on them but.
The trailer opens with a shot of a resort hall straight out of The Shining, however as an alternative of a pair of creepy women, there’s a Christmas tree, after which a sequence of bullet holes popping into the hall from an adjoining room. These are adopted by an explosive of some type and half the resort vanishes, so the digicam can pan over a totally ruined cityscape. Three futuristic helicopters carry mechs throughout the destruction. The entire scene makes being left alive look like one thing extra of an achievement.
