Leaked Footage of Marvel’s Wolverine Surfaces Two Weeks Before Release

Some individuals have managed to gain very early access.

Marvel’s Wolverine is scheduled for release in a couple of weeks, but some people have already obtained the opportunity to play the new project from developer Insomniac Games. Story and content spoilers began appearing online first, and now full gameplay demonstrations have been added to those details.

The situation escalated to the point where playthroughs of Marvel’s Wolverine started being streamed openly prior to the official release. Observers online noticed one streamer broadcasting across various platforms who positioned himself as “the first person to play the new game.”

Sony’s legal team evidently noticed the activity, as measures were soon taken against his accounts, and viewers are now greeted with a message:

The streamer did not explain how he managed to obtain an early copy of Marvel’s Wolverine. However, users noted that he previously reported holding a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License — in the US, this is the driver’s license required to operate commercial vehicles). If this is indeed true, he could work as a courier and therefore had the opportunity to pick up a copy of the game. Yet, there is no full proof as of yet.

The official release of Marvel’s Wolverine is expected on September 15 of this year on PlayStation 5 consoles.
