The former politician appears clearly delighted, sporting a playful expression as he jumps along to the beat before skipping out of the shot.

“Ancient texts suggest that hopping to this track guarantees 1,000 years of good fortune,” Perry playfully noted in the video’s caption.

For Trudeau, the cameo serves as another display of his dedication to his partner. He previously made headlines for prioritizing his “supportive boyfriend duties,” famously skipping a major Canadian sporting event to cheer on Perry during her high-profile appearance at the U.S. vs. Paraguay soccer match.

Reflecting on their relationship, which began last summer following Perry’s separation from Orlando Bloom, the couple made their official red-carpet debut in June during the premiere of her concert documentary.
