Disney released an official video podcast about the creation of the film The Mandalorian and Grogu to coincide with its digital premiere.

Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni hosted the podcast, discussing the evolution of the story and the transition of The Mandalorian to the big screen alongside Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, composer Ludwig Göransson, and Grogu.

The podcast consists of two episodes. The first focuses on the relationship between the central characters, while the second concentrates more on technical details, new heroes, and the specifics of adapting a television series into a feature-length format.

Both episodes are already available on Disney+, YouTube, and various audio platforms. Their release was timed to coincide with the digital premiere of The Mandalorian and Grogu on Disney+, which took place on September 2.
