John ‘TotalBiscuit’ Bain has died at 33

Gaming critic and trade commentator John Bain, higher often known as TotalBiscuit, has died on the age of 33. His loss of life was introduced final evening by his spouse, Genna, who tweeted a poem of remembrance. Bain was recognized with most cancers in May 2014, and introduced his retirement from his YouTube channel earlier this month.

On that channel, TheCynicalBrit, Bain posted movies on a wide range of subjects, from sport discussions to trade tendencies. He hosted the Co-Optional podcast, and had beforehand hosted one other podcast, World of Warcraft Radio, for 5 years between 2005-2010. Bain additionally labored with Blizzard as a commentator for StarCraft II, and sponsored and managed knowledgeable staff, Axiom.

In a statement issued earlier this month to the TotalBiscuit subreddit, Bain introduced his retirement as a video games critic, saying that he had been instructed that “conventional chemotherapy’s effectiveness had been exhausted,” and that he was affected by liver failure. He continued to host the Co-Optional Podcast, which he mentioned would proceed after his loss of life in a shortened format, hosted by his spouse.
