Jelly Roll’s Daughter Bailee Expresses Disgust Over Public Interest in His Divorce From Bunnie Xo

Bailee Ann, the daughter of country music star Jelly Roll, has publicly addressed the recent news of her father’s divorce from Bunnie Xo. The teenager expressed frustration regarding the intense level of public scrutiny surrounding their family’s private life.

In a candid TikTok Story shared on Tuesday, June 16, Bailee posted a photo with a blunt message: “Oh, and one more thing.” She went on to state, “I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter. It’s fkn crazy.” She urged followers to respect their boundaries, adding, “Go on somewhere, y’all. Worry about your house, not mine. I’m not speaking on it—yet.”

Jelly Roll filed for divorce from the Dumb Blonde podcaster on May 18, ending nearly a decade of marriage. While the filing became public shortly before Bailee’s statement, news of the split had only just begun to circulate widely.

Since the couple married in 2016, Bunnie Xo has played a pivotal role as a guardian for Bailee. Jelly Roll has frequently credited his estranged wife with providing the stability necessary to help him reconcile and build a stronger bond with his daughter after his previous legal troubles. In a 2023 interview, he remarked, “I would have never gotten custody of my daughter without her. I wouldn’t have had the stability or the resources.”

The family had appeared to be in good spirits as recently as May, when the couple helped send Bailee off to prom—a follow-up to a surprise prom they hosted for each other last December. Following her initial frustrated post, Bailee returned to social media on Wednesday morning to strike a more conciliatory tone.

“At the end of the day, no matter what, we are all humans with feelings, and that is worthy of compassion,” she wrote. “I will never forget those of you that have shown me empathy when I’m seeing a lot of hate. I hope humanity can evolve to a place where kindness comes first. I understand that a public profile is just that, but that shouldn’t mean we discard our basic human decency. I love you all.”
