BTS Release 36-Minute Behind-the-Scenes Arirang World Tour Video

BTS is sharing an in-depth look at their backstage activities on the ARIRANG World Tour.

In a “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN EUROPE Sketch” posted Thursday (Oct. 1), the group takes fans along for the European leg of the trek, which began in late June in Spain and concluded in mid-July in France. The footage features RM, Jimin, Jung Kook, V, SUGA, Jin, and j-hope relaxing in green rooms, getting dressed with help from their styling team, and interacting with fans in the crowd.

The video also shows the bandmates sharing meals, teasing each other, and goofing off backstage. Jung Kook practices the native languages of the countries they visit to address the crowd, while Jin and V engage in a tickle fight as j-hope shakes his head.

The full ARIRANG trek kicked off in April in South Korea. The Bangtan Boys then traveled between Asia and North America before starting the European leg. Following a break after their North American run in August and early September, BTS is preparing to resume the tour in Colombia on Friday (Oct. 2).

The ARIRANG tour has achieved massive commercial numbers reported to Billboard Boxscore. The trek logged the second biggest one-month gross in Boxscore history with $171.7 million across 801,000 tickets sold over 12 shows in August, falling just short of Beyoncé’s $179.3 million in August 2023.

The tour aligns with the performance of BTS’ latest album, ARIRANG. Marking the group’s full-band return after completing their South Korean military service, the project spent three weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 and produced the Billboard Hot 100 number one single “SWIM.”
