Javier Bardem to Star as Billionaire in HBO Series
Academy Award winner Javier Bardem is set to headline the upcoming HBO drama series “The Spread,” according to a report by Variety.
The narrative follows a visionary billionaire, portrayed by Bardem, who orchestrates a bold plan to transform Miami into the next major economic hub of the United States. The series is penned by Bill Dubuque and Sean Sansiveri, known for their work on the Netflix hit “Ozark,” with Matthew Vaughn (“Kingsman”) tapped to direct several episodes.
Before the year concludes, audiences can catch Bardem in two upcoming theatrical releases: the family drama “My Love,” arriving October 15, and the thriller “The Bunker,” which premiered in competition at the Venice Film Festival and hits screens on December 3.
