Wild Dog says Japanese Ramen Simulator has sold more than 100,000 copies on Steam following its October 9 Early Access launch. The studio has also outlined three stages of planned updates.

The first stage focuses on new content and solo play, including karaage, a meal-ticket machine, a self-service water dispenser and staff customisation. New difficulty options and a level cap of 35 are also planned.

Later updates are intended to add gyoza and beer staff, fried rice, custom shop music, layout presets, a tutorial library and text chat. The final stage lists new ramen varieties, noodle making, ramen stalls and a photo mode, with the level cap eventually reaching 50.

The studio describes this as a development plan rather than a fixed schedule. Features and their order may change with development progress and player feedback.
