Jack White Blasts Donald Trump Over Iran Bombing: ‘Behold the Leader of the Board of Peace’

Rock luminary Jack White has once again voiced his sharp disapproval of Donald Trump, this time targeting the president’s leadership following the military campaign dubbed “Operation Epic Fury.”
The 50-year-old musician, a relentless critic of the administration, took to social media on Saturday, February 28, to lambaste the president. His reaction followed a series of coordinated aerial strikes by the United States and Israel against Iranian nuclear infrastructure—a move Trump characterized as a preemptive necessity.
Sharing a snapshot of Trump’s televised war announcement, White pointed out the perceived absurdity of the moment. “Don’t you love seeing him declare war on a country while wearing a trucker hat that says ‘USA’ on it?” White wrote in a provocative Instagram post.
Continuing his satirical critique, White mocked the president’s self-appointed role as chairman of the “Board of Peace,” an organization established in early 2026 with the alleged mission of fostering global stability. “Behold the leader of the ‘Board of Peace,’” White remarked. “For the next war announcement, Donny, may I suggest having your feet up on the Resolute desk while eating a Big Mac in a velvet tracksuit?”
White further highlighted the contradiction between Trump’s frequent assertions that he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize and his aggressive foreign policy record. The guitarist listed nations like Venezuela, Greenland, Iran, and Cuba, suggesting the president treats international intervention with reckless indifference.
“Don Jr. and Barron won’t have to fight or die, just other people’s children,” White added, referencing the president’s family. “So… invade and bomb away! New sign-ups for the ‘Board of Peace’ starting at one billion dollars! Can you believe Donny hasn’t received a real Nobel Peace Prize yet? Unfair! Maybe in his third term he’ll get one.”
In his own defense of the military action, Trump addressed the nation on Saturday, labeling the Iranian government a “very wicked, radical dictatorship” focused on violence. While acknowledging that American service members may face casualties, the president insisted the strikes were a “noble mission” intended to secure a safer future.
White’s history of public feuds with Trump is extensive. Recently, the White Stripes founder expressed outrage over a controversial video shared on Truth Social that used racist imagery to depict the Obamas. “How is it possible we’ve given this evil man so much power?” White questioned at the time.
A staunch advocate against what he describes as fascist and racist ideologies, White made his stance clear in 2023, stating that anyone who treats the former real estate mogul with respect is “disgusting” in his eyes. He has consistently argued that the politician’s rhetoric and actions are a direct threat to democratic norms.
