Developer Quarter Up has officially pulled back the curtain on the latest addition to the Invincible VS roster. Joining the fray is Powerplex, the electricity-wielding, emotionally volatile antagonist who harbors a deep-seated vendetta against Mark Grayson. He brings his frantic, high-voltage combat style to the upcoming 3v3 tag-team fighter.
Powerplex dominates the arena with a relentless barrage of lightning-based strikes. His Ultimate attack serves as a direct homage to his most iconic encounters from the animated series. While Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul provides the voice for the character in the show, Quarter Up has yet to officially confirm his involvement in the game. However, the vocal performance in the reveal trailer is strikingly similar—particularly during his more desperate outbursts—suggesting Paul may indeed be reprising the role.
With his arrival, Powerplex becomes the 14th confirmed combatant. He joins a growing lineup that currently features:
- Invincible & Omni-Man
- Atom Eve & Rex Splode
- Battle Beast & Bulletproof
- Cecil, Robot, & Monster Girl
- Thula, Anissa, & Lucan
- The original character, Ella Mental
With a total of 18 characters expected at launch, only four mystery slots remain before the game makes its debut this spring. This title is also the subject of an upcoming deep-dive cover story, offering an exclusive look at the mechanics and narrative elements of this “faithfully bloody” adaptation.
Invincible VS is scheduled to launch on April 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
