Imagine Dragons’ drummer, Daniel Platzman, formally introduced on Wednesday (Aug 21) that he is leaving the band to concentrate on his movie making up profession.
“After an incredible journey of over a decade, I will be departing the amazing band that is Imagine Dragons,” Platzman cooperated a press declaration. “I wanted to share my deepest gratitude to you, the fans, for your unwavering support and sharing in the joy of music with me. Connecting with you all has truly been the highlight of this chapter. I’m excited to be able to share more soon about the projects I’ve been hard at work on over the past few months centered on my biggest passion: film scoring and composing. I promise you’ll be the first to know. Stay tuned.”
Platz has actually remained in the band for greater than a years. He joined his previous partners Ben McKee and Wayne Sermon, along with vocalist Dan Reynolds, as the drummer for Imagine Dragons in 2011, soon after he finished from Berklee College of Music.Later that year, the band authorized with Interscope Records
and would certainly take place to launch 5 accredited platinum cds.
