The interdimensional survival adventure Voidtrain has just received Update 1.05, arriving alongside the Tour de Void expansion, which is currently available to claim for free.
Developer HypeTrain Digital has officially deployed the 1.05 patch for Voidtrain, simultaneously unveiling the brand-new Tour de Void DLC to broaden the game’s horizons.
The most notable quality-of-life improvement in this update is a significant inventory expansion. By adding two extra rows of slots to the maximum-level backpacks and storage containers, players now have 12 additional spaces to manage their resources. This change is a direct response to consistent community feedback regarding storage limitations and the constant burden of inventory management.
In addition to storage upgrades, the patch introduces a radius-based item pickup feature and a complete overhaul of Depot generation. Travelers can now encounter “peaceful” Depot variants that swap mandatory combat arenas for tranquil zones featuring Rofleemo and reward chests. The “Builder’s Book” interface has also been streamlined with new sorting and filtering tools, enhanced recipe tracking, and various technical refinements to perk systems and container interactions.
The Tour de Void expansion enriches the Rofleemo ecosystem, allowing players to welcome these quirky creatures aboard their trains as “tourists.” By installing a dedicated tourist stand and passenger seating, players can accept unique tasks from their guests. Successfully completing these missions earns tickets, which can be exchanged for an assortment of cosmetic items, rail skins, decorative furnishings, and various character perks.
To celebrate the milestone, the base game is currently featured at a 50% discount. Furthermore, the Tour de Void DLC is free to add to your library until February 23, 2026. Once this promotional period concludes, the expansion will transition to its standard retail price.
