The Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era team has published a short devlog detailing the demo’s recent milestones and additional updates.
HoMM: Olden Era has exceeded one million wishlists; the title climbed into Steam’s top 15 most-wished-for games and ranks No. 1 in the “turn-based strategy” category.
The demo’s peak concurrent player count reached 24,000 — one of the strongest showings for strategy demos.
The developers are implementing a range of quality-of-life improvements, updating models, and refining the interface and balance. Feedback about the current size of the battle map has been noted and is under review.
