Call of Duty: Black Ops four has barely been out every week, and but it already has its first hackers on PC. Fortunately developer Treyarch has acknowledged the difficulty, and is on the case.
The proof is a reasonably suspicious video, posted to Reddit by consumer TheWetDolphin. The participant (named ‘ViciouZ’) will get six kills in a row – with 4 headshots – whereas doing nothing greater than pointing their gun within the obscure route of the enemy. The first two come after ViciouZ carelessly blind-fires round a nook, whereas for his or her third, their crosshair by no means even touches the participant they supposedly catch within the head. This is fairly clear proof of aimbotting, although as GamenGuides level out, it’s attainable that ViciouZ could also be utilizing different hacks, too – it’s arduous to say with out seeing precisely what they’re seeing on their monitor.
Treyarch has responded to the thread, saying “we take anti-cheat very seriously, and have worked closely with Blizzard’s security team on the process.” The developer recommends that you just report cheaters via the in-game instruments, via Battle.internet, and by posting at its Reddit account.

By most accounts Call of Duty: Black Ops four has been a roaring success to date. Jordan gave it a 9/10 in our personal Black Ops 4 review, whereas Activision says Black Ops 4 player counts are double these of COD: WWII final yr with over $500 million in gross sales. Here’s hoping a couple of aimbotting dangerous apples don’t spoil the entire battle royale bushel.
