GTA VI Leaks Proven True After Rockstar Games Confirms Inside Source
Some of the information about GTA VI that appeared on forums last year has been confirmed to have originated from Rockstar Games employees.
The gaming leak tracking community compared older posts with recent facts, paying special attention to a post by user GameRoll from mid-2025 who claimed to know one of the developers.
At the time, those details were dismissed as the fantasies of fans dreaming of a mix between Red Dead Redemption 2 mechanics and a modern Vice City. It has now turned out that the list consisted almost entirely of real details from an early version of the game.
The return of the six-star wanted level, the division of the story into chapters, and the ability to interact with pedestrians—such as greeting or provoking them—have all been confirmed.

Mentions of character weight changes, a brutal body damage system, Jason’s ability to slow down time, and a limited inventory have also returned. Even interface details matched, including a rectangular minimap with pink navigation dots.
It appears that not everyone at Rockstar Games knows how to keep a secret.
