GTA VI is still unfinished, Rockstar may delay the release date again — insider
Concerns are mounting among fans that the wait for the next installment might stretch even longer than anticipated.
Prominent industry insider Tom Henderson recently suggested that the core content for Grand Theft Auto VI is effectively complete, claiming that Rockstar Games has transitioned into the final polishing phase.
However, renowned investigative journalist Jason Schreier has disputed this narrative, offering a more cautious perspective:
“The last I heard, the game’s content was still being finalized. This means developers are still iterating on various systems, wrapping up missions and levels, and determining exactly what will make the cut for the final release.”
Schreier refuses to rule out a potential delay for GTA VI.
“I don’t believe anyone at Rockstar could currently promise with 100% certainty that they will meet their deadlines and launch the game by late next year.”
Although Grand Theft Auto VI is currently slated for a late 2025 release, skepticism is growing within the gaming community. Many experts and enthusiasts remain doubtful that the ambitious project will arrive within its projected timeframe.
