GTA VI Fans Create Most Detailed Map of Leonida
Dedicated fans have assembled a detailed map of the state of Leonida in Grand Theft Auto VI by analyzing official trailers and cross-referencing real-world Florida geography.
While Rockstar Games has yet to officially unveil the map for GTA VI, community members have spent months piecing the game world together from trailers, screenshots, and other official promotional assets.
Enthusiasts analyzed buildings, road networks, coastlines, and topography, matching them against Florida’s actual geography, which serves as the blueprint for Leonida. The resulting project maps out every officially confirmed location, including Vice City, Port Gellhorn, and the Leonida Keys.
One notable finding is the presence of at least three airports. Beyond the primary airport in Vice City, the map identifies aviation facilities in Port Gellhorn and the Leonida Keys. The Leonida Keys installation may serve as a military base.
The creators deliberately avoided recent leaks when building the map. Because Rockstar routinely issues DMCA takedowns against leaked material, the project relies exclusively on verified official sources. The team noted that blank regions on the map do not indicate empty wastelands, but rather areas that currently lack sufficient visual data to chart.

The community plans to continue refining the project as new official materials emerge. The complete and final design of Leonida will be confirmed when Grand Theft Auto VI launches in November 2026.
