Rockstar Games rarely releases promotional materials for Grand Theft Auto 6, so assorted enthusiasts pore over every available clip. Those repeat viewings have steadily driven up the view counter beneath the trailer on Rockstar Games’ YouTube channel since its premiere in early December 2023.
Recently, the view count for the first GTA 6 trailer climbed to 268,730,000 — making it the most-watched video on YouTube. Previously, the record was held by another trailer with 268,561,000 views.
If nothing else changes, Grand Theft Auto 6 is slated for release in November 2026. Insider reports indicate Rockstar has finished adding content and is now focused on polishing the build — addressing various technical issues.
