GTA 6 Can No Longer Be Added to Wishlist as of Yesterday at 23:40 OPla G400

Our monthly section (September, October, November) can be concluded by stating that the video game industry is plagued with knock-offs and low-quality content. And there is no quality control in the PlayStation Store—none whatsoever. In early December, a new “game” was uploaded there and showcased to the public (the page has since been removed, but the Internet remembers everything). However, unlike the previous “projects” we’ve mentioned, this one did not aim to profit from players but to mock both the system that approves content for the digital store and the notoriously long wait for GTA 6. Both the name Grand Taking Ages VI and the description with fabricated reviews from IGN, GameSpot, and PC Gamer (“The most ambitious delay simulator in history”) immediately reveal that it’s merely a parody that somehow got approved.

You’d be surprised, but this prank wasn’t limited to AI artwork; they even made some “screenshots.”

Unfortunately, the joke wasn’t allowed to go too far, and it didn’t last until its potential release date, scheduled for May of next year.
