Grandfather Nurgle’s Gifts: Warhammer Age of Sigmar’s Maggotkin Get New Miniatures
The Warhammer Age of Sigmar team unveiled a new wave of kits, miniatures, and books that Nurgle devotees can expect to buy in the near future, and they also premiered a fresh trailer for players.
Ghelgus Pust from Warhammer Quest: Darkwater wasn’t the only bearer of Nurgle’s gifts at the World Championships Warhammer Preview Live! 2025. During the event, Games Workshop showcased a variety of upcoming releases for the Warhammer Age of Sigmar tabletop range.
The developers revealed miniatures including Festus, the Leechlord; plague-mounted knights (the Sloven Knights, also dubbed the Slovenly Knights); Putrid Lords of Corruption; Plagueblades; and Pestigors.
Details about these units will appear in the battle tome “Maggotkin of Nurgle.” The book will be released in a standard edition and a Gamer’s Edition (which includes a complete set of cards and battle scrolls).
You’ll be able to buy the “Bubonic Cell” spearhead. Inside it are a Nurgle Beast, a swarm of nurglings, and a ten-figure Rotmire Creed unit.
They’ll also release the “Regiment of Renown: The Pustules” box, which includes a ten-figure Plaguebearer unit, the Spoilpox Scrivener, and a bell-adorned Feculent Gnarlmaw, plus a pack featuring Ghelgus Pust and his followers.
In addition, the “Path to Glory: Blighted Wilds” book will be offered, featuring new battleplans, narrative paths, heroic traits, artefacts of power, spells, rules, and more. It will give players a closer look at adventures in Tyria.
