Gran Turismo 7 Developers Show New Track and Cars in Spec IV Update Part 1 Trailer
Developers will soon expand the vehicle lineup with models from XIAOMI, Ferrari, and more.
The creators of Gran Turismo 7 recently highlighted the upcoming release of an update. During the third round of the Gran Turismo World Series 2026 championship, they presented the trailer for the Spec IV Update Part 1.
In the promotional video, the developers showcased the new Japanese track Sportsland SUGO, along with six car models:
- Honda Civic SI Group A Version 1987
- Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line 2023
- Citroen 2 CV 6 Charleston 1986
- Ferrari F355 Berlinetta 1994
- Mazda RX-Vision GT3 EVO 2026
- XIAOMI Vision Gran Turismo
The October update, Spec IV Update Part 1, will also include new features and other changes:
- A new Spec IV opening cinematic video;
- “Vintage,” a section featuring cars that are unavailable in new condition;
- “Car Concierge,” a service for ordering used and legendary cars;
- “Experience,” a mode featuring signature challenges for various car brands;
- “Car Viewer,” giving players the opportunity to admire cars in their garage;
- An increase to the maximum collector level.
The release of the Spec IV Update Part 1 for Gran Turismo 7 is scheduled for October 15, 2026. The second part of the update, featuring the Autumn Ring track, six cars, and other features, is planned for release in December of this year.
