The Witcher 3 Modder Streamlines Graphics Customization Process
The game interface no longer blocks the view.
Following the recent release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster, not all players appreciated the graphical enhancements. Users actively criticized CD Projekt RED for a “lifeless” visual style.
Certain settings can help improve the situation, but players wanting to dial in the “ideal options” ran into a problem. During the adjustment process, they could not immediately see how changes affected the game because the view was blocked by the menu.
An enthusiast named gleb63 noticed this issue and created a convenient tool to help adjust graphics settings. The tool removes the opaque background from in-game menus, allowing players to see changes to the game world in real time while tweaking parameters.
In the initial version of the modification, the entire menu became transparent. After reviewing feedback, gleb63 released an update so that the mod now applies only to the Graphics and HDR menus, while other elements render normally.
The “Real-Time Graphics and HDR Menus Preview” modification for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster is available for free on Nexus Mods.
