Gran Turismo 7 continues to draw new players alongside its longtime fans.

In October, the developers of Gran Turismo 7 are preparing to release an update titled “Spec IV Update Part 1”. The update will add the Japanese track Sportsland SUGO, as well as several new car models, including the Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line 2023 and the XIAOMI Vision Gran Turismo.

Released in 2022, Gran Turismo 7 continues to attract many players. In an interview with media outlets at the end of last year, franchise producer Kazunori Yamauchi shared: “Several years have passed since the release of GT 7, but we still have more than two million active users per month. These are not only devoted fans; completely new players are joining us as well.”

Yamauchi recently told the publication Traxion that Gran Turismo 7 is still selling very well, something Polyphony Digital did not expect:

Gran Turismo 7 continues to sell very well, although initially we did not expect this. We continue to add new content and game modes because the game’s user base continues to grow.

The release of the Spec IV Update Part 1 is expected on October 15, and in December, the creators of Gran Turismo 7 plan to release the second part of the “Spec IV” update, which will include the Autumn Ring track, new cars, and features.
