Cosplayer Shares Zelda Costume from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Cosplayer ms.khmely has portrayed Zelda from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, capturing the moment the princess transforms into a dragon to save Hyrule and restore the broken Master Sword.
The remake of the action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is scheduled to release on November 5, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2. To help fans prepare for this major release, cosplayer ms.khmely has shared new photos.

During the photoshoot, which was organized by photographer Leila “LASTIK” Askarova, the model appeared as Zelda from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The team aimed to capture the moment when Princess Zelda becomes covered in glowing crystals during the forbidden draconification ritual, which she undertakes to save Hyrule. To repair Link’s broken Master Sword and infuse it with sacred power across millennia, Zelda voluntarily swallows a Secret Stone.

At this moment, powerful streams of light and time magic pierce her body, appearing visually as sparkling crystals and scales. This luminous shell gradually envelops the princess and completely reconstructs her human form, turning Zelda into the immortal Light Dragon.

By agreeing to this transformation, she knowingly sacrifices her mind and personality, as this ancient ritual is considered entirely irreversible (though Zelda was ultimately able to return to her original form).
