Goldenvoice is expanding its desert legacy with the announcement of Head Trip, a premier electronic music summit scheduled for October 10-11 at the iconic Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
This strictly dance-focused weekend follows in the footsteps of Goldenvoice’s previous specialized mega-events, such as the legendary classic rock gathering Desert Trip in 2016 and the 2023 heavy metal pilgrimage Power Trip.
The Saturday roster features a powerhouse collection of talent, headlined by Calvin Harris. Joining him are Chris Lake and Fisher, who will bring their “Under Construction” collaboration to the desert, along with a rare back-to-back performance from Peggy Gou and Four Tet. The day’s programming is rounded out by a B2B set between Ben Sterling and Seth Troxler.
Sunday’s lineup maintains the momentum with high-octane performances from Swedish House Mafia and Skrillex. The bill also includes a collaborative set by Dom Dolla and Kettama, as well as appearances by The Blessed Madonna and DJ Harvey.
Beyond the main stage, attendees can experience the Sunflower Sound System, an immersive installation curated by Floating Points. Housed within a custom-built dome, the space will feature sustainable mycelium paneling and original tapestries by artist Josephine Chime. Floating Points will host the space throughout the weekend alongside various surprise guests.
To ensure fans don’t miss a single beat, Head Trip will utilize a single-stage format with no overlapping sets. The visual experience and stage production are being spearheaded by Romain Pissenem, the renowned creative director and founder of High Scream.
The event is restricted to those aged 18 and over. Official travel packages are currently on sale, starting at $2,150. These bundles include a two-night hotel stay and two General Admission tickets.
