MAPPA has unveiled a new trailer for Hell’s Paradise season 2, showcasing intense confrontations and confirming additional voice cast members. The dark shonen series is scheduled to return in January 2026, with a simulcast planned on Crunchyroll.
The trailer transports viewers to Shinsenkyo, a mysterious island perched between beauty and torment. Home to the coveted Elixir of Immortality, the isle is rife with lethal threats and escalating chaos — alliances are scarce and danger lurks at every turn. The Tensen — a formidable group endowed with supernatural powers — arrive on the island, but they’ll contend with monstrous adversaries equally determined to seize the elixir.

- Ryota Suzuki as Shugen (known for Ryusei in Dr. STONE)
- Koji Yusa as Jikka (voice of Renzo in Blue Exorcist)
- Maaya Uchida as Kiyomaru (who played Nanaka in Grand Blue Dreaming)
- Sayaka Ohara as Isuzu (noted for voicing Erza in Fairy Tail)
Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku follows Gabimaru, once celebrated as the strongest ninja, who abandons his duties and is subsequently condemned by his village. Although sentenced to die, Gabimaru’s extraordinary resilience thwarts every attempted execution — from beheading to immolation. Recognizing his unextinguished will to survive, executioner Sagiri Asaemon offers him an extraordinary bargain: infiltrate Shinsenkyo, secure the legendary Elixir of Immortality, and earn a shot at freedom.
The second season is directed at MAPPA by Kaori Makita (Kakegurui Twin), with series composition by Akira Kindaichi (NieR:Automata Ver1.1a), character designs by Koji Hisaki, and a score composed by Yoshiaki Dewa (Call of the Night). The inaugural season of Hell’s Paradise premiered in April 2023.
