A new short teaser for Fable from Playground Games shows an updated protagonist whose facial features differ noticeably from earlier promotional footage.

The closing frames of the teaser, released ahead of Gamescom 2026, drew immediate attention from the community. Social media users quickly speculated that the developers altered the heroine’s face in response to earlier criticism from parts of the audience. Some users joked that “Asha heard fan complaints” and ensured the character looked more appealing.
