Free Sega Football Club Champions 2026 Launches in January — Trailer Released
Sega has announced a free football management title, Sega Football Club Champions 2026. The game is scheduled for release on January 22, 2026 for PC, PS4, PS5, iOS and Android. Pre-registration is already available.
The company states the project was developed on the backbone of Football Manager and features officially licensed player data from FIFPRO.
Managers pick a club and steer it to glory using comprehensive management tools and an in-depth simulation engine. The J-League, K-League and other competitions are included. The title supports full cross-play and shared progression, allowing players to switch seamlessly between PC, PlayStation and mobile devices.
Players can build squads composed of the world’s top footballers, expand club infrastructure, design training regimens and nurture young prospects. The game offers flexible tactical and strategic customization that takes each squad’s strengths and weaknesses into account.
Both single-player modes and PvP are available, featuring Cup competitions, an International Cup and global leaderboards.
