The photo challenge is a staple of the Festival Playlist in Forza Horizon 6. To knock these tasks off your list and secure your rewards, you simply need to capture a snapshot of your car at a specific, designated location on the map.

While some clues are straightforward, pinpointing the exact spot can occasionally feel like a needle in a haystack, especially given the sheer scale of the game’s expansive rendition of Japan.

Here is exactly where you need to go to complete this week’s photo challenge.

To finish the introductory “Welcome to Japan” photo challenge, you must travel to the Horizon Festival Site situated in the Ohtani region. If you have been following the main progression, this area will already be accessible, as it serves as the site of your first wristband acquisition.

Once you arrive at any road surrounding the Festival Site, simply toggle the photo mode—press up on your D-pad or hit ‘P’ on your keyboard. Feel free to snap a quick, functional photo to claim your prize, or take a moment to frame your vehicle against the backdrop of the massive mecha robot for a more cinematic shot.

Successfully capturing the photo unlocks the Cat Meow car horn, which you can equip via the customization menu in your garage.
