Talk of ‘X marks the spot’ and ‘treasure’ collectively is a reasonably clear trace that they’re going for pirates this season, but when that isn’t swashbuckley sufficient for you, Epic additionally included a picture that options what seems to be a hook. Hooks are related to two sorts of individuals: Pirates, and the assassin in that one scary story children informed again in highschool concerning the scratching sound on the automobile door. But given the references to treasure earlier than, we’re going to imagine this implies pirates.
A pirate theme lends some credence to the idea that the snow at present masking the island goes to soften and lift water ranges. That would definitely make house for pirate ships and maybe a extra nautically-themed season basically.
But what to make of the phrase, “Loot that has been lost / can always be found”? Is Epic planning on pulling some outdated weapons and gadgets again out of the vault for Season 8? Or maybe there’s an all-new type of treasure hunt in retailer?
