First photos from the set of “The Batman 2” released

Director Matt Reeves has shared initial behind-the-scenes snapshots from the production of the upcoming Batman sequel via his social media channels.

The images highlight the iconic Batmobile set against a backdrop of falling snow. The star-studded cast for this installment features Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrell (as the Penguin), Sebastian Stan (as Harvey Dent), Scarlett Johansson, Andy Serkis (as Alfred), and Barry Keoghan (as the Joker), among others.

The Batman Part II is slated for theatrical release on October 1, 2027. Its predecessor, released in 2022, proved a massive success, pulling in $772 million at the global box office.
