First Gameplay of Ylem’s Cat Features Unique Mechanics

Diamond Cat Studio has released the debut trailer for Ylem’s Cat, an open-world adventure game centered on a heroine and her magical feline companion, Mio.

Set on an alien planet, Ylem’s Cat gives Mio unique abilities. On command, the companion can grow in size, attack enemies, and serve as a mount for the protagonist.

Mio also plays an essential role in solving puzzles. For instance, players can send the cat into areas out of the heroine’s reach to activate switches.

The developers have not shared many additional details about the title yet. Ylem’s Cat currently lacks an estimated release date. The project is in development for PC, where players can follow its progress on Steam.
