Filming of the Crime Drama “Heavy Luxury” Has Concluded

Production has officially concluded on the crime drama Heavy Luxury, featuring an ensemble cast led by Paulina Andreeva, Ivan Yankovsky, and Yuri Chursin. Originally developed under the working title Palevo, the series is set to premiere on the streaming platform Wink.

The plot centers on Ksenia, the spouse of a prominent real estate mogul, who has long enjoyed a life of opulence and high society. Her comfortable world unravels after she accidentally kills her husband’s mistress. In a desperate bid to cover up the crime, she finds herself entangled in a clandestine operation involving the trade of counterfeit designer handbags.

The series is helmed by director Ilya Aksenov, celebrated for his work on Kapelnik and World! Friendship! Gum!. An official release date has yet to be confirmed.
