Fantastic Reality 2026: The Three-Day Virtual Talent Showcase Returns to Los Angeles

Following a highly successful inaugural run in Los Angeles last year, Fantastic Reality—the innovative three-day festival dedicated to 3D mixed-reality performances and VTuber culture—is set to make its grand return this summer.
The immersive event will transform the Vermont Hollywood Theater in Los Angeles from July 2 through July 4, with each evening offering a distinct, curated musical experience.
The festival kicks off on night one with “Fantastic Reality: Found Futures,” presented by IRIAM. The lineup features heavyweights of the VTuber scene, including Matara Kan, kson, and Lilypichu. A major highlight of the opening night is the debut of Virtual Signal, which is being marketed as the industry’s first all-virtual rock band. This evening marks a series of milestones: the first-ever live concerts for Matara Kan and the ensemble Virtual Signal (led by vocalist Emilya Fell), as well as Lilypichu’s debut live performance as a VTuber.
The second night, “Anibash: Crossroads,” serves as a collaboration with the dance label Asahi Crew, renowned for their high-octane, Tokyo-inspired rave culture. The festivities conclude on day three with a special matinee showcase, “Doki Doki: Rewind Time,” a performance co-produced and headlined by the popular creator Dokibird. Organizers note that the collective social media reach of this year’s roster spans more than 24 million fans, with additional artist announcements expected in the coming months.
“Fantastic Reality is dedicated to building community through transformative experiences that highlight the world’s leading virtual talent,” said co-producer Spencer Burnham. “We are incredibly excited to bring stars like Dokibird, Matara Kan, kson, and Lilypichu to an intimate, in-person setting to perform alongside our live house band.”

This year’s showcase builds on the momentum of the 2025 debut, which featured a landmark performance by Ironmouse and helped solidify the event as a premiere destination for the global virtual talent community.
