Fallout Creator Returns to Obsidian Entertainment and Is Already Working on a New Game
Tim Cain is in no rush to reveal the project’s details.
Veteran game developer Tim Cain, one of the creators behind the original Fallout, has announced his return to Obsidian Entertainment — the studio he departed in 2020.
I’ve returned to Obsidian. I’m now a full-time staff member and working on-site rather than remotely — so I’m no longer a contractor.
According to Cain, he’s been coming into the office regularly for “just over a week” to work on a new project. He isn’t sharing details and even advises people not to speculate about what the game will be.
Cain also got a tattoo of the Lunatic — the mascot of the “Just Cosmos” corporation from The Outer Worlds.
