Enthusiasts Want to Launch GTA VI on PC at Release Using PS5 Emulator
PS5 emulation enthusiasts have set an ambitious goal to run GTA VI on PC within the very first week of the game’s release.
Just a few months ago, such a scenario seemed nearly impossible, but PS5 emulation development has accelerated noticeably. The AnyPS5 project has increased system library support from 77.87% to 78.95% and GPU shader instruction support from 81.3% to 87.31%. Developers have already implemented over 1,000 shader instructions.
The community’s goal is to run PS5 games on PC, study the console architecture, and improve emulator compatibility. Some enthusiasts expect to achieve basic compatibility even before the release of GTA VI and then attempt to boot the game in the first week after launch.

For now, this is merely a community ambition rather than a confirmed capability. Emulating a new and demanding game may prove significantly more difficult than simply continuing to raise the compatibility metrics of AnyPS5.
