This kit is built on revamped versions of the very tools utilized by the RED developers almost a decade ago to craft this iconic game. We challenge you to craft a completely new questline comprising 2-3 interconnected quests! This is your opportunity to tell your own story and shape an adventure unique to your vision — whatever that might be! Each submission will be evaluated for creativity, originality, and technical proficiency.
If the main task isn’t to your taste or you need a warmup, you can also join smaller Modding Challenges! A themed challenge will be revealed every few weeks, giving you a chance to showcase your specialized skills. There will be 3 challenges in total, with the first one arriving soon!
To submit your mod, you need to upload it on Nexus Mods at https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3 and provide a link in the submission form available on the official contest website:

You can participate in as many tasks as you like. However, note that:
- In the main category, you can compete individually or in teams of up to 5 people (you can only be part of one team);
- Entries in the main category must be submitted by October 14, 2024, 3:59 PM CEST;
- For challenges, you need to participate individually, but can enter as many challenges as you wish (you can only submit one mod per challenge);
- Challenge entries must be submitted within specific deadlines, as indicated in the respective challenge announcements;
- To be eligible for the contest, mods must not have been published before April 16th, 2024, 1 PM CEST;
- Submitted mods can be updated until the end of the submission phase.
Modding Challenges will be evaluated by members of the CD PROJEKT RED and Yigsoft teams. For the Main Category, a shortlist of submissions will be crafted by CD PROJEKT RED and Yigsoft judges, with the final decision determined by community vote.
