Patch 5.01 Released

Patch 5.01 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is out now, bringing gameplay fixes, interface corrections, and PC adjustments.

The “Automatically Apply Blade Oils” setting now functions correctly outside the current game session.

Player-controlled boats no longer move uncontrollably and ignore terrain collisions.

Ladder interaction animations have been improved.

Geralt no longer collides with dead enemies after the Aard finisher.

Vesemir no longer repeats the same line when Quen is cast multiple times.

Dodging response delays have been resolved.

Players can no longer throw a bomb when the option is disabled.

The Synergy skill bonus now displays correct values.

Damage reflection has been added to the Exploding Shield skill.

Geralt’s Stamina is no longer fully drained when sprinting and dodging simultaneously.

The “You’ve gained an ability point!” pop-up no longer stays stuck on the screen.

Input hints on the meditation screen no longer flash briefly.

The Potions tutorial now appears properly after accessing the Consumables tab.

Misaligned progress bars in the user interface have been corrected.

The GTAO Quality setting no longer resets after restarting The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered.

Dynamic Resolution Scaling now displays the correct setting after changing the Anti-Aliasing mode.

Graphics settings can no longer be enabled on unsupported GPUs.

Switching graphics presets no longer applies DLSS or XeSS on unsupported graphics cards.

The default Dynamic Resolution Scaling setting is now OFF.

Skill tooltips now update properly without requiring a re-hover.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered no longer selects the wrong GPU in certain cases.

Visual adjustments include improvements to Bloom, tone mapping, character lighting, Ray Tracing, and Path Tracing.

The policy consent screen appears again due to backend issues, requiring players to confirm preferences.

My Rewards and Twitch/Bilibili Drops now appear in the Vizima chest even if it was opened previously, which may result in item duplication.

Foliage now reacts correctly to collisions.

Save file data issues have been addressed with added measures for previously affected saves.

Visual artifacts caused by Dynamic Resolution Scaling on certain configurations have been fixed.
