ENHYPEN Pauses “EN-O’ CLOCK” Variety Series as Group Transitions to Six Members
In the wake of Heeseung’s recent departure from ENHYPEN, the group’s management has announced a brief intermission for their popular YouTube variety series, “EN-O’ CLOCK.” Several upcoming episodes have been pulled from the schedule as the remaining members recalibrate during this transitional period.
The hiatus was made official by BELIFT LAB on Thursday, March 12—the same day fans typically expect a new installment of the show. In a statement shared via social media, the agency clarified that the series, which usually broadcasts every Thursday, will take a short break to ensure the quality of future releases.
“We are taking a momentary pause with the ‘EN-O’ CLOCK’ series,” the statement read. “We plan to return this April with even more engaging content. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.”
A Significant Lineup Change
This scheduling shift follows the bombshell announcement earlier this week that Heeseung would be exiting the septet to embark on a solo trajectory. The decision came after what the label described as “extensive deliberation” and “in-depth discussions” with the group members. While the news has triggered a polarized response from the global fanbase—including a viral petition that has already surpassed one million signatures—the agency remains firm in its direction.
Addressing why Heeseung could not balance solo projects with group activities—a model successfully utilized by groups like BTS and BLACKPINK—BELIFT LAB explained that a total focus on his solo career was deemed the most “fulfilling approach” for both the artist’s growth and the future of ENHYPEN.
Moving Forward as a Sextet
While Heeseung will remain signed to the same label for his upcoming solo music, ENHYPEN will continue its journey as a six-piece ensemble featuring Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. The group recently made their first public appearance since the news on Australia’s The Morning Show, where they focused on their upcoming live performances.
During the interview, member Jake noted that the group has been immersed in rigorous rehearsals to adapt to their new dynamic. “We’ve been spending a lot of time in the practice room,” the Australian-raised singer shared. “There have been significant adjustments to our choreography and stage formations to prepare for the Hello Melbourne festival.”
