
Square Enix has unveiled the captivating opening cinematic for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, the high-fidelity remake of the beloved 2000 RPG slated for release next month. For players eager to dive into the adventure early, a playable demo is scheduled to arrive this Wednesday, January 7.
The free preview will be available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Switch 2, and Steam. In a welcome move for completionists, progress made in the demo will carry over to the retail version when it launches on February 5. Furthermore, players who transfer their save data will be rewarded with the exclusive “Day Off Dress” cosmetic for Maribel.
