Last week, Square Enix introduced a partnership with Marvel to create multiple games set in the latter’s cinematic universe. The first undertaking to be revealed of this “multi-year” deal was The Avengers Project.
The Avengers Project is being developed by Tomb Raider makers Crystal Dynamics, with assist from Eidos Montreal, the studio behind the latest Deus Ex reboot. But Montreal is doing greater than that, based on a new Eurogamer report.
The studio is claimed to be in pre-production levels of an untitled Guardians of the Galaxy sport. Unlike The Avengers Project, Eidos Montreal would be the lead on this one, although no different particulars are recognized.
Because of this, it’s not exhausting to think about why Eidos Montreal is putting the Deus Ex franchise on hold.
